Long before his sweeping orchestral scores filled a galaxy far far away, jazz pianist Johnny Williams was a swinger of note. Before his melodies became the music of a swingin' generation, his unwavering groove was heard on recordings of West Side Story (among others).  As jazz musicians, we consider him one of our own, so in dedication, we invite you to raise your cocktail high and drink one to Johnny.  Carvin Knowles October 1998
