 "Irish/Celtic Rock is much more than just fiddles, bagpipes, and boozin'.  The Celtic culture expands into, and has influences from, Spain (the Irish nation of Galicia), varying sections of Africa, Eastern Europe and the Near East (the bouzouki originated in ancient Persia), and mountain Appalachia (the use of the 5-string tenor banjo).
