The evocative and eclectic instrumental score to the Ray Manzarek directed film, "Love Her Madly" features Ray with composer Bruce Hanifan, and includes an appearance from fellow Doors alumni Robby Krieger. As Ray himself said about the score, "have a glass of wine and put your ears on it." - Ray Manzarek

"The Third Mind" DVD
William Burroughs said that when two minds collaborate, a third mind is created. This is the third mind between the psychedelic and beat sensibilities of Ray Manzarek and Michael McClure (who was a poetry mentor to Jim Morrison). This DVD features live performances interlaced with commentary on the nexus between spoken word and music. With appearances by Alan Ginsberg, Jim Carroll, Lawrence Ferlinghetti, Diane di Prima, Ed Sanders, Lee Ranaldo, and Ann Waldman, "The Third Mind" DVD is a compelling primer on the impact of music on the Beat Generation.
"Irish/Celtic Rock is much more than just fiddles, bagpipes, and boozin'. The Celtic culture expands into, and has influences from, Spain (the Irish nation of Galicia), varying sections of Africa, Eastern Europe and the Near East (the bouzouki originated in ancient Persia), and mountain Appalachia (the use of the 5-string tenor banjo). Thus, our album is about more than leprechauns and pots o' gold, it's our fun, rocking variation based on authentic Celtic history." - Reilly

America's loudest lounge singer Richard Cheese performs swingin' Vegas versions of rock, rap, and Top 40 hits, "swankifying" contemporary songs into traditional pop vocal standards. Cheese has released 6 albums and has sold more than 100,000 CDs, starting with his 2000 debut CD, "Lounge Against The Machine." The hardest working Dick in show business has played sellout shows around the world, from New York to New Orleans, from Las Vegas to London, from Hollywood to Honolulu. He's made appearances on Jimmy Kimmel Live, CNN, MTV, Fox News Channel, and NBC's Last Call with Carson Daly as the house band. With his swanky jazz trio, his tiger-striped tuxedo, and his enormous microphone, Richard Cheese presents the perfect mix of music, martini, and madcap!
Excerpt from AllMusicGuide.com album review by Alex Henderson
...Richard Cheese has a good laugh at the expense of lounge music on Lounge Against the Machine. But this goofy CD doesn't butcher Tony Bennett or Frank Sinatra; instead Cheese turns his attention to mostly alternative rock hits of the '90s. In Cheese's hands, everything from Nirvana's "Rape Me," Garbage's "Only Happy When It Rains," and Radiohead's "Creep" to Rage Against the Machine's "Guerilla Radio" and Limp Bizkit's "Nookie" gets a lounge makeover. The songs' angst-ridden lyrics and Cheese's frivolous, Vegas-minded arrangements make for odd, ironic contrasts, and that's exactly what the singer is going for. In addition to lampooning lounge music, Cheese is laughing at the abundance of angst that one hears in a lot of alternative rock...

Richard O'Brien is the creative force behind the classic midnight feature "The Rocky Horror Picture Show." In addition to writing the stage and screen versions of RHPS, Richard starred in both as Riff Raff and sang many of the show's memorable tunes. On this, his latest effort, Richard shows off his talent with smooth music he likes to call "apartment jazz."

David's "Unborn" CD is being released for the first time in the United States with a new bonus track. It is subtitled "Unreleased, Unrefined, Songs in the Raw 1985-1995" and represents David's favorite unreleased songs from the past.
Each song has an interesting history and evolution that is outlined in the extensive liner notes. The title "Unborn" David says: "evolved from the songwriter point of view, that songs are like our children--and those that haven't been released are like our unborn children...this is a very personal collection".
The US version contains an extra track not found on the Japanese version and improved packaging. All for much less than the going rate for the Japanese import.

The Loungeman cometh, bringing you his salute to those whacky Osbournes. Bud E. Luv, the "Wizard of Lounge" has conjured up swingin’, toe tappin' renditions of Ozzy’s greatest hits. Pulled from some of the earliest Black Sabbath albums up through the most current of Ozzy’s solo releases, Bud E. Luv has worked his "lounge magic" (AKA loungemosis) on the original Prince of Darkness’ tunes that will have the juke joints jumpin’ and have you barking at the moon.
The Fabulous Bud E. Luv, the king of swing, the father of folk, the daddy of disco, the man who put the boss in bossa nova is a very real California entertainer who originally hails from Boston, MA. Bud E. has been gracing stages with his finger snappin' tunes for over 30 years. With tongue firmly in cheek, Mr. Luv delivers to you swingin’ versions of tunes originally made famous by that loveable madman Ozzy Osbourne, who we’ve all come to know and love.
This 2 CD set is culled from the best performances recorded over a Friday and Saturday night in Hollywood. Live at the Roxy is a virtual “greatest hits” package and a wonderful coda to Brian’s first solo tour. An “Internet Only” version of this album was previously available on Brian’s web site but this special pressing contains exclusive retail bonus tracks. It doesn’t get any better than this . .
